Indrajit Hazra is a writer and journalist. He is the author of the novels The Burnt Forehead of Max Saul, The Garden of Earthly Delights, and The Bioscope Man. His only non-fiction work till now has been Grand Delusions: A Short Biography of Kolkata. He is Editor, Views at The Economic Times, where his column, Red Herring, appears every fortnight. He also writes the music column, Rock’n’Roll Circus for ET Panache. He is also a contributor to The Times of India. As a Mohun Bagan AC and Arsenal FC supporter, he follows football with more enthusiasm than he can muster up for anything else. He lives in New Delhi and is not on the board of directors of any company.
