The 37 member companies under its banner contribute immensely to the development of a safe Indian plastic packaging ecosystem. They collectively represent +60% of Total Plastic & +90% of PET value chain in India.

We act as a catalyst to enable the PET packaging industry to play an increasingly significant role in the growth of the Indian national economy and GDP, by providing employment opportunities and driving income growth. We facilitate the framing, development and dissemination of best practices, related to PET manufacturing, re-cycling, promoting environmentally friendly packaging, improving its quality and other relevant areas, for continuing to make available to the consumers environmentally safe and friendly PET packaging. Engaging with Policy makers, Regulatory agencies, Trade Associations and other key stakeholders is also a key objective of PACE to make the entire PET value chain sustainable.

PACE has developed a transformative nation-wide PRO system to handle post-consumer packaging built on the principles of inclusion, ethics, transparency, good governance and 100% traceability. This platform will enable convergence of multiple initiatives undertaken by producers individually apart from building new infrastructure. The venture will also focus on a range of other partnerships to bring deep expertise to solve the current problems of the waste eco-system. All transactions by the PRO system will be anchored on a technology-based platform to capture data on real-time basis.
